Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)
"well here's something to brighten up this thread which has become doomed to depression!!" quote Gumbud.
Yes depression can be tough Gummy, I went a few rounds with Mr. D in my middle years but fought me own way out of it, it’s all in the mind as they say. So just plough along at your leisure and care not, remember that in the big picture nothing really matters.
Then of course you have the ‘Crankies’, naturally grumpy from birth, everything’s wrong and nothing is right types, perpetual pain in the neck types, nothing makes them happy and God help anyone living with them.
I would hate my descendants to remember me as I remember my paternal grandfather, a spiteful cranky, miserably, tight fisted, never smiling old git.
A cranky old man is a pain in the neck
A verbally abusive physical wreak
He’ll moan and groan from morning till night
But nobody listens, cos they don’t give a shite.
Another beautiful day here as I relaxed in the glorious sunshine, I have acquired a nice all round tan except for my lower regions. can’t be taking off me jocks in the garden, Mrs McNab next door is a window peeper and she would have a heart attack with the shock.
I'm sure the room will light up tonight when I go to bed, my lily white bum will shine like the Baily Lighthouse in the moonlight.
