Re: Is Immigration A Class Issue?

Sadly Twizz although I like to think I am honest I would be claiming anything I could, I don't know anyone who if they are honest wouldn't. Well perhaps my husband but his Aspergers make it impossible for him to cheat or tell a lie - useful in some ways and a nuisance in others !

But, they're not cheating or lying, they believe they're entitled, they must be allowed to claim or they wouldn't get it. It's totally wrong but, it's allowed, that's what has to change...

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. When my children were very young, I could have sat at home and been a lady of leisure but I chose to work part-time instead. Out of the money I earned, I got to keep £6 of it each week; it didn't matter, it felt good knowing I was contributing and not just taking. There will always be those with a me-me attitude and it's a shame that so many of them end up in Parliament.

Been there, done that too, but if someone had said, would you like your bills paid, I would have said "Yes, please!" I know they're far greedier than us, but they don't think that. My sister's a very wealthy person but will still try to get something for nothing and she can! I'm very unwealthy and I can't, but I would! (If it was honest & above board) Most would, wouldn't they?

It has been my experience that something seldom comes for nothing - there's always a price to pay. With that in mind, I'd say no thanks, I can do it myself. Maybe I'm just too cynical.
