As we got back on the coach to return home, I noticed this one lone foreign young male sitting quietly in the corner of the back seat. I knew full well that he had not been sitting there on the outward journey. Of course, I said nothing as I knew the crowd that had bagged the back seat would soon suss out who he was. Sure enough, they did, the driver was called and he was escorted off, no doubt to try his luck with another coach that would not be so full.
Even back then, I recall it was routine for any illegals caught after reaching Dover to be interviewed, given some money, told to attend an interview at a later date and sent on their way! Of course, hardly any ever went back to be interviewed, as the authorities must have known.
Yes. The mass illegal immigration into this country is very much the fault of our own authorities.
Why? I suggest one of two things:
Our leaders are afraid of criticism by the do-gooder fraternity.
They are afraid of sending them back across the Channel to France - don't want to upset our Frog friends!
