Re: Flu jabs - do you get them?

Mine is booked for 7th October. Have had flu really badly in the past which left me slightly deaf in one ear, don't want to go through that again.

As far as hurting, people have different pain thresholds. In the late 60s when it was the Asian flu our bosses made an arrangement with a doctor and had a nurse come to the office to administer them ...it was mandantory, no amount of whinging, moaning and complaining could get you excused. So I had my one and only flu shot, ad it DID hurt!!!

I think you'll find the needles they use these days are a lot finer than those used 40/50 years ago, Eileen ...... they are really fine now

The last jab I had it knocked me off my feet. I am reluctant to have another one now.

Re: Flu jabs - do you get them?

I had a bit of flu once-it`s nothing like what we all might have said about a bad cold-it`s bloody awful.

So if I am offered a jab,which I am,I`m all for it
