Although, my private-school, daughter of a snobby army officer, spouse,
(affectionately known as "wifey" or SWMBO)
has never been known to do so in my presence in over thirty years.
Similarly, I have never seen her cut her nails, pick her nose or even clean her ears.
A 'lady' perhaps ?
