It may not be anything to do with 1957, but my posts, at least, were more general -
to do with expressing pride in something over which a person had no control.
Would it be deemed 'unfriendly' to suggest that if one went to "Find all posts by Mups",
we might find a bucket-load of similar 'Off-Topics' ?
Is it only worthy of comment when the digression involves certain people ?
Perhaps it might have been more productive to post something related to 1957 ?
In 1957 I had a dog and I was quite fond of cats.

It is not so much the off-topic, its the bloomin' arguing that gets on my nerves.
