Hi PS,
You're really going way back in here now, aren't you?
Keep these coming, it's great to see some other tracks from albums featured while we're, er, killing time! Just wish I wasn't at work.
Hopefully, I'll have a little time tomorrow for a few more

Haha. It's quite a way off yet mate, but due to the nature of it ie. a thread which is designed for longevity rather than chit chat, when it gets there it will stay there for a long time I reckon.

But it's not all about numbers or popularity, at least we can say there is some kind of purpose to it. I'm just happy that you guys are enjoying (most of) what you see so far.

You may think that if I can chat like this why can't I be posting the albums? Thing is I'm on my phone at work so it can't be done, plus I have all my lists and stuff at home on my PC. I'll do some more tomorrow.
Great to see your interest though

Had a look through and spotted some Walter Trout. Did you hear we nearly lost him

Hi bud.
I didn't mate, no but I know he's had a history of medical issues and self-inflicted drink and drugs abuse and so on. I did read an interview with him recently in Classic Rock magazine where he was given a hundred quid to enjoy himself in a record shop. He seemed upbeat and he's lost some weight but he's certainly been in the wars over the years.
I'm a relative newcomer to his music but he's some mean guitarist isn't he?
Thanks for posting the video too

636. Surfer Girl . The Beach Boys.

Little Deuce Coupe

https://youtu.be/icpb8JP-M9s

'Just a little deuce coupe with a flat head mill
But she'll walk a Thunderbird like (she's) it's standin' still
She's ported and relieved and she's stroked and bored.
She'll do a hundred and forty with the top end floored
She's my little deuce coupe
You don't know what I got
(My little deuce coupe)
(You don't know what I got)

She's got a competition clutch with the four on the floor
And she purrs like a kitten till the lake pipes roar
And if that aint enough to make you flip your lid
There's one more thing, I got the pink slip daddy

And comin' off the line when the light turns green
Well she blows 'em outta the water like you never seen
I get pushed out of shape and it's hard to steer
When I get rubber in all four gears"

Pure poetry

Wonderful mate. I nearly put this video on but I already posted Surfer Girl and In My Room.
I do know a little surfer girl who will love reading that when she returns to the forum soon
