Welcome back, and glad you had a nice time.

Any more trips planned? Or are you giving your suitcase a rest?!

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Hi folks, I know Myrtle from a Manchester trip a few years ago and just wanted to welcome her back.

I love Scotland and would like to revisit. Went on a coach trip and particularly enjoyed Callender. I'm pretty sure I also went to Edinburgh too. And many years ago I went to Paisley with an Australian penpal by train, so he could see where his mother was born.

Thanks for the welcome. May I stay? M will vouch for me!

Hi Jazzi and welcome I have a friend who lives in Paisley. Myrtle I'm off to Bute with friends on the 11th of November probably our last trip there this year. A nice sunny day here and I went into town and had a look round the shops.

Oh peeps, just to say how I got to know M and a few others. I joined their thread (Manchester/Cheshire) and just got chatting, as you do. They talked of meeting up in Manchester and I invited myself along. Stayed in a motel for 2 nights, going up by coach. We all had a great time. But don't get worrying that I'll threaten to join you all on a meet where you all are! Lol.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Never say never Jazzi . Who knows what may happen ... I almost had a meet up in Edinburgh with some of the Scottish members last year but if you remember I had a fall and had to cancel my holiday although I did manage to go a bit later but by that time the thread had "folded"

It's on my to do list to visit Portpatrick and hopefully meet up with Abbey for a coffee

Jess ... am I right in that you went to Bute not long ago ? I loved it when I went

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Jazzi sorry to say that we no longer meet up as a group, there are a few of us who meet for a coffee and a chat. Yes Myrtle I was at Bute a few months ago. I'd also like to go to Edinburgh for a few days, will have to chat to nieces about that one.

Good afternoon all. It's been another nice day up here though not as nice as yesterday. I made a large pot of lentil soup so I will be freezing some when it cools.

Hello from me too

It's been a lovely day sunny day here but as I'm full of a cold and a cough I can't say that I've enjoyed it
