Mushroom burger I've got a lovely portobello mushroom and some giant garlic will make that beautifully.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Just had toast and pate. For later I have a lamb shank. Wanted to put it into the slow cooker, but it just won't fit! So it's back in the fridge for now, then keeping it in the slow cooker liner bag, will add a little gravy and mint sauce, and cook in a roasting pan in the oven. With mash and maybe peas to go with.

Was going to have a steak & Kidney pudding for lunch, but having spent the past four hours in haematology Dept at the hospital, am in no mood to stand and cook, so will whistle up a take-away shortly.

I have just cooked a Gammon Joint, so we will be having some of that today with all the roast trimmings.

Will have the steak & kidney pudding I missed yesterday. The chinese take-away I ate last evening was fabulous - had some Dim Sum dumplings with cocoanut and honey (yes it did send my blood sugar up - but have now managed to regulate it).

Can recommend a few places in Belfast Missy darlin' or, if you happen to be down that way - there's the Whistledown Inn in Warrenpoint.

TBH it’s prolly going to be a chip cart or drive through as we have the trailer and are picking up items that are liable to be pinched if left in a car park
