I enjoyed those too Jem and 'Tales of the Unexpected' (many based on the stories of H.H. Munro better known as Saki)

Re: If you could bring back a TV programme

Tales of Mystery and Imagination - the episode where the two kids had their hearts cut out as part of a ritual for everlasting life by their `benefactor` still gives me the shivers.

The Liars. 1960s TV show where the four regulars would tell different versions of the same story only one (or perhaps none) was the truth. Any TV show that has Nyree Dawn Porter and Isla Blair in it gets my vote.

Hi Realist.

I have been wondering how you are getting on with Fringe and where you are up to.

I think you might have missed the point of the programme.

I didn't miss any point of the programme. It was just the one "joke". White racist incessantly calls black neighbour racist names.

It was incredibly boring as was On the Buses and that Alf Garnett thing.

I lumped them all in together at the time.

Maybe I was too young, or maybe my intellect was too advanced at that time
