Re: Harry's not happy
That is the finest display of common sense practicality I have seen this year, Muddy. I want to move to Sweden immediately!
Yes, our Monarchy and all that goes with it is an outdated, money-draining system. It's worse that we now get do-gooders such as Harry and William (and their meddling spouses) involved who should shut the f up and mind their own business. How can they know what it's like to be a working person on the street, living in a terraced house and trying to make ends meet? They have not an inch of savvy about them to know what that is actually like!
If push came to shove:
a. Keep The Queen. She doesn't really bother anybody and keeps herself to herself. Move her in a one-bedroom 'safehouse' (so she won't be attacked or her handbag get stolen or her corgis poisoned).
b. Get rid off all of the hangers-on. We only require dimwit Charlie big ears, Anne (who is actually quite worthwhile and works hard for a Royal person), William - who is sort of okay but misguided, Harry for the students who need some kind of brainwashed figurehead and Edward (for the LGBTiQ brigade's patron). Andrew must be locked up for tax dodging, wasting natural resources and sh^gging dubious whores. In effect, keep only the "immediate" Royals but give them their own housing estate with a three-bedroom house each and 40ftx20ft garden and one garage to fit their modest car.
c. Get rid of all their land and give it to the National Trust to plant more trees and start breeding rare animals again to thrive in the wild. Sell off all the priceless artwork to fund children's overseas medical trips to make them well again. Money going to good causes such as Child Cancer instead hanging in rich people's houses.
d. Open a nice big museum of all the memorabilia so the Royalists of this silly country can be happy in the knowledge that we need Royals to "attract visitors". Blinkered idiots.
(ever wish you'd never spoke, Muddy?)
