But the ages you state are in agreement with todays life expectancy. I stated that this expectancy had inclined over the years, as you can see in the graph below.

Thanks for that Solasch. Yes I believe smokers who lived into their 80's and 90's
were the exception rather than the rule....
I don't think the decrease in life expectation will bother me...I will be 90 in 2040. But having already having had two heart attacks, living until then would be an optimistic prognosis....
