OK-seeing as it's 'poetry time' on Les Scribbs;this is a poem wot I rote some years ago.
It won 1st prize AND as a result,was published in a book of poetry.
"I'll 'ave 'im!" he snarled
I said "Pardon? Have whom?"
"I'll rip out 'is eyes!"
I said "Why?"
"Cos he forced me over and gimme The Digit!
So I'll MASH 'im!", he roared at the skies.
"AND he was smirking!"
he said through clenched teeth.
So I'll stick one on 'im,the sod!
I'll pull off 'is ear'oles and dance on 'is tongue!"
[I looked skyward and thought Oh,my,GOD]
"I'll punch out 'is lites an' give 'im one up the frote!
I'll use 'is eyeballs for my next game of pool!
No-one overtakes ME wiv a smirk on his moosh!"
[He then accelerated and started to drool]
We pulled alongside,
swapping insults and gestures,
flat out and vying for space;
But it was always like that,
He used to really let rip,
when Jesus drove
in a chariot race...
