Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good afternoon ladies. May I agree with what you say re Carmichael. He's also one of these who need to keep favour in his community to keep his job. Who are the LibDems anyway? Wait a minute were they not ostracised for being in bed with the Torys and their leader disappeared without trace after selling his soul for his 15 minutes of fame? The National has a leading article re Shetlands ideas about independence, which isn't new, and is not hitting at independence for Scotland. Puts the case clearly. If only people would understand that the government we can have as an independent nation is the government we vote for. This is something we can never have while we are governed from Westminster. Party politics should be secondary to working together for the common good. Sorry you are back in lockdown. It really is hard to be motivated these days. Fortunately we Scots, dour as we sometimes seem, are used to hard times & bounce back. Albeit with a wry sense of humour. It's definitely colder these days. I had the heating on yesterday as everything to me felt cold & damp after having water around for almost 20 hrs. I couldn't be bothered doing much today so have footered around on the laptop, but I will do something useful on it in a wee while. Chin up, we need to count our blessings. Take care.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
An excellent post Beki which I agree with 100 percent...We must not listen to the nay-sayers,but most of all ...We must not be afraid to do what We know is the right thing for Our CountryRe: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning, It's sooo cold here today and the winds churning up the waves good style. The Surfers are enjoying it though. I left the beach as it was just to windy for me and went over and walked in the forest instead. Not budging from the house again today. Brrrr.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning, Dry cloudy and real muggy here this morning. Got a full beach walk with no wind today. Just back from Tesco and it was nice and quiet. Just pluttering around here the rest of the day, doing whatever I come across that needs doing.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good afternoon ladies. Met my friends at the ferry and one of them took me over in her car. Weather wasn't to bad and we managed a few walks and trips round the island. No music in the Hotel, so we just had a few drinks and chatted. My niece and her daughter and friend also came with us, so she dropped me off at home.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good afternoon all. Sounds ideal Jess, catching up with friends & family. I went to my gym session today. It was a bit weird and the machines were not recording or able to show usual weights, repetitions etc. However I did work out & feel better for it. I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow I only lasted about 45 mins (my usual session would take about 70/80 minutes) but I promise to do better. I have booked sessions for Wednesday morning & next Monday. I would love to get back to walking so I'm hoping this will help. I'm booked for an overnight and dinner on Friday night. This is the first I have been away since New Year so I'm really looking forward to it. Love your photographs Roxy. Hope the wind drops & lets you enjoy the lovely area you are living in. At least you have Perth for a break now & again. Take care ladies.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
