Yes, let's hope so as all on here will, if not already there, hopefully be in that situation one day.
Once we reach 75 I reckon the least we can expect is a free TV licence, although the quality of the programmes shown at times, especially Fridays and weekends does leave lot to be desired. A view expressed by members on here!

I also got one of those yesterday.At the present time I keep switching channels between the cricket and tennis.
It’s like what they say about busses. “ you wait for one, and they all come at the same time”.
So for a change 2 decent programmes. Oh yes I forgot about the motor racing, but not interested in that. Same old same old.

Have not had a TV license had on tv for ten years because I could watch BBC programmes on IplayerO joy.
Then the law according to the BBC was changed that I could not watch BBC on Iplayer without a license.
Then when I reached the age of 75 I applied for a Free licence.
They can go and tuck them selves
Nothing watching any way.
