So do I Solo, the only problem is the tears flow, 'sweet sixteen' especially. I have the song and I just have to sit and listen, no matter what ...........

Hi Terry yes Johnny Ray did do a song Cry, also Walking my baby back home, Little white cloud. He was a great singer. They are all on YouTube Terry have a listen. He was around in the 50's and 60's.
Billy Fury was another favourite of mine great voice.

Hi Solo, thanks for your comments on my cd & I must admit my favourite is also the Furey's version of when you were sweet 16,it has such a haunting feel about it,I always make sure that I play this one at my oldies gigs. Hope all is well with yourself & family.
Kind regards Terry & Patricia

Re: fifties and sixties music

Hi Doc, re walking my baby,I have actually got the song in my song list plus I have one of my backing tracks which I made up for it,but for some reason have only played it out a couple of times ,I didn't realise that Johnny Ray did that one I will have to run it through a few times before confident enough to play it out, thanks for the reminder, I also would like to be able to perform The Green Fields of France its got such a haunting melody.Terry

It touched my heart although I won't put it on my list
