Venetian blinds ... again

No I do not want a super dooper fabby coloured one made of metal, gold, wood, bomb-proof stuff, whatever.

I just want another one for my kitchen BUT with the mechanism the other side.

IE ... the pullies are on the left.

Any sensible ideas would be really appreciated

thank you

Re: Venetian blinds ... again

Surely any blind manufacturer would adapt the pull mechanism to the side you prefer. I don't understand your query.

These people make them left handed, Rachel, and the quality is good.

Do not know of any 'ready made' left handed blinds.

Firstly, do you have a window in your Kitchen? Secondly, eccles is quite correct, when ordering, you can stipulate which side you require the mechanism, it really is an open and shut case.

Re: Venetian blinds ... again

Thanks all
I wasn't planning on spending the earth as it's only a kitchen window in a corner.

My main blind was from Argos or somewhere similar, so not hundreds of pounds.

I know they're available in OZ but that's too far away

Broadway Blinds looks useful ... ta muchly

Re: Venetian blinds ... again

Can't you just use right handed ones and turn the whole thing around?

I dunno. Just crossed my mind .

I need to pull myself together.

John Lewis do left handed.....there will be quite a few other stores that do them.

They wouldn't want to be seen as left-handist.
