Simon Danczuk, the MP for Rochdale, who was suspended by the Labour party in December for exchanging sexually explicit messages with a teenager, is under investigation by the parliamentary expenses watchdog.

I have a great deal of respect for all politicians irrespective of party affiliations.
There are, of course, rogue elements in all parties but generally speaking they are all dedicated hard-working individuals and I hate to see them pilloried and demeaned in the manner that some of our members seem to take great delight in, to their eternal discredit.
