The boom went down, the bridge went up ... but they didn't stop. They crashed straight through the boom and to their death.

Is it that slow?

The news here had an interview with the local police but they're keeping much to themselves, they hint at knowing but are awaiting the outcome of the investigation.

My assumption is that it takes 2 days for us to formulate a thought, a sentence, that cannot be construed as non-PC correct. You know, we might accidently mention their car was black.

They're talking about the incident on Breakfast telly right now. Seems no-one knows yet, how or why.

It is always sad when something like this happens, young lives taken far too soon.
