Friend Requests

Hope this is ok to post this topic but if not it can be removed.

What do you do if you get a friend request and you are not too sure if you want to accept? I don't think I would like being left hanging and probably others do not either.

Would you pm the person and tell them that you want to take a little time to get to know the person through the forum first.

Or accept the request and if it does not work out then Unfriend them?

Re: Friend Requests

Newbies have no PMs to start.
I just accept them, then I can always change my mind later.

Re: Friend Requests

Data is crafty, sometimes it is best, not to accept it, so there is less left to undo.

Re: Friend Requests

It's a harmless and pleasant gesture to have friend requests on here, I even have a few myself oddly.
But apart from being a friendly thing it doesn't really mean anything.
This forum is more close knit and has that homely charm.

I am largely ambivalent about this group's understanding of friends.
I quickly develop an affinity to members when we share values and are on the same wavelength, but I am a failure as a friend because I look at my list and fail to see the relevance of it and delete everyone.
Then I feel bad

I'm a funny bugga
Harumph,
