Heavy rain in the night, enough to wake me up.

Grey bin day today, taken mine out already.

Good Morning Swimmy and all who follow.

It has rained through the night here as well - but is due to be sunny later on.

Monday is housework day in Tabby Towers - so that should keep me quiet for a while. Might make some celery and onion soup before taking the Shark for walk and rearranging the dust. Laundry already in the machine.

Ok today I might ........well there are limited options aren't there...so I might just see what the day brings which will probably involve a paint brush

Good morning everyone, after a brief but heavy rain shower it has now cleared and another fine day ahead they say.

Laundry and shopping day here, but they've changed the hours at Tesco so we may have to go later instead of first thing. No other plans yet but no doubt the garden will feature if the sun's out.

Good morning everyone some welcome rain in the night which has freshened things up and brought out the soft green leaves on the silver birch trees.

Not a lot planned I feel there is no rush to do things, no one will be coming here any time soon.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

It’s raining here, which should clear during the morning, leaving sunny spells but isolated showers are also forecast. Maximum temperature 18ºC.

New turf laid ten days ago will benefit from the rain, so that’s good. However, that much-needed warmth would also be welcome and save me ‘climbing the walls’ for exercise!

Good morning everybody.

Oh what a start to the day - no water in our taps - apparently a water pipe burst somewhere.
I had to fill the kettle for my morning cuppa from the hot tap!!

I wanted to do the washing today but of course now the water's off there'll be no washing, showering or even floor moping until the water returns.

Think I'll have an idle day instead.

Heavy rain here too during the night, now sun with a few clouds. As usual not a lot going on, I have got washing in the machine & am thinking of cleaning my front porch, only thinking at present though.
