Good morning all. I've stayed at the Grand Hotel, Scarborough many times - fantastic architecture and fascinating concept in its design.

I love Scarborough and surrounding area - Castle Howard is beautiful as well and I am sure the Christmas decorations were gorgeous.

The current view from my window... was 10 degrees this morning but the wind chill was -2, colder tonight.

Trying to stay warm and reading books...about all I can do. Had so much trouble with internet connection and computer running slow for past 2 weeks...happy to say all is as it was..a scan found some bad stuff that was missed by the other scana, removed it and all is great again.

Afternoon all.

Went to my Mum's this morning, it was freezing cold and very foggy, but the sun has come out now, so looking a bit more cheerful.
