Re: Happy Thursday Folk

buenas dias all. A sunny but chilly morning here. Yesterday we had new table and chairs delivered, along with a new kitchen unit. The table was fine, the chairs were not what I ordered and had to go back. I can't blame the shop, all the boxes had the correct chair name and colour on, but for whatever reason the factory where they were made had the wrong chairs in the wrong boxes, so now the correct ones will be delivered on Friday. Today our new boiler is (or supposed to be) installed, we were told yesterday they would be coming this morning, no sign yet but Spanish morning goes up to 2 p.m. so there is still hope. I'm off to a Christmas lunch in a couple of hours so if they turn up Mr Clumsy will have to cope alone. Have a good day all.

Re: Happy Thursday Folk

A belated good morning having just returned from shopping on this cold damp morning .

I tidied the cupboard yesterday and checked for low stock so have had a lot of bits if shopping to put away.
I don't need to buy much next week now when it will be busy, just the essentials that won't store.

Just a bit of cleaning to do now then I can have a leisurely day.
Enjoy your day everyone

Re: Happy Thursday Folk

Just a little taste of early winter here.
It is right at zero now, was -6 when I got up at 5am but with no wind it is not too bad. Also Jer got a load of good oak for the furnace.

I also order on line and get it delivered to the house...no shipping or handling charges where I shop. I have no need to leave the house and don't intend to...in hibernation!

I hope each of you find something to be happy about today..

Amazing Alan, I like historical things like that.

Have been out cleaning today.

It's sunny here but still cold.
