Apropos the remark viz. cola cola inventing Santa, as far as I understood they did not so much invent him as change his clothes from plain white to red and white. However I vaguely remember a QI programme where this whole 'Coca Cola invented the red and white Santa' question was raised, but for the life of me cannot recall whether it was true or not!
