Re: Duvet Day

I don't stay in bed, but I do have days when I do absolutely nothing because I'm not feeling well.

Today, after visiting a shopping centre, I went back to bed at Noon as I felt unwell. I really shouldn't have gone out because despite getting a taxi there and back I didn't feel well. Feel slightly better now and will probably stay up quite late.

Re: Duvet Day

I own a duvet...and these days I am tiring very easily so, guess I'll admit, to having "duvet days" every so often.

Assuming a duvet(?) is a doona then every night is a doona night for me.

This is usually the time of year when I change from my winter doona to the summer doona but it is still bloody cold with temperatures still getting down to 12 or 13°C at night - not very spring weather, in fact, miserable weather.

But... No... I never wander around with a doona over my shoulders during the day though I do wear a jacket or cardigan it is so cold.

Like I say cold for me. Actually I was bit peeved today. the forecast said 95% chance of rain and now (Sat 4pm) it is only just starting to cloud over but if I had known I would have had my washing on the line this morning.

No I dont have "duvet" days ,if Im feeling under par I might just pop on my fleecy pyjamas but Id never entertain the idea of traipsing around with my duvet round me,how idle and slothlike

Re: Duvet Day

I don't really have duvet 'days' but I do like a duvet morning on Sundays because I dont have to work, I love my Sunday lie ins.

I do have pyjama days but not very often.

My answer minus the kids but I can certainly relate to the ‘over doing it’ in the garden. That’s something I often do especially this time of year with all the leaf collecting.

Soak it in and enjoy your day Cinderella. You’re allowed.
Hope you feel better soon.
