Dating sites are the way to go now in these modern times. The stigma no longer exists.
The people who usually knock them have never even tried them and and only see the negative side of them.
My son couldn't afford to go to pubs & clubs to meet girls in the usual way after his break up. He couldn't even afford a computer. I bought him one & stood over him while he joined a dating site!! lol
It was the best thing I ever made him do. He met Paula & it was truly love at first sight. (after a few false starts)
I have never done it but I know lots of people who have .
My son met his partner online also my brother and a two friends of my own age who married men they met online both happily ..
It’s one way of meeting someone especially if you are older .
I met my BH online, not on a dating site but the BBC messageboards. It was the middle of winter in the UK but nice and sunny in Australia and the England cricket team was playing in Melbourne,so how could I resist?
My son met his wife on a dating site and my daughter had a few date's using one although she met her hubby on a girls night out in a pub. I've never been on one but if I were single I would try one ..
