There are lots of text book therapists.....cognitive therapy can help, if they have experienced what you have, other than that ,no, I don’t believe they can help.
I had yrs of cognitive therapy.....and I went through many councillors to get the right one......I could tell a text book one.they could not help me.
That has been my experience......with all of their text book wording....empathy...zilch.
