BBC survey

I've just received this:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/send/u61149175?xtor=ES-206-[40165_Survey+Email+2020+(iPlayer+template)]-20210120-[bbcaccount_bbcsurvey2020_nogenre]

I thought I'd take part, hoping that I could tell them exactly what I thought about them!
However, it appears that I'd have to register with them to do to.
So I didn't.
I don't want to provide the possibility of them using my name in any way and certainly not to support them.

If anyone does decide to do this, please let me know how you got on.

Re: BBC survey

I wonder if that survey has anything to do with the latest on how people are not watching television as they used to? Apparently there is quite a considerable shortfall in the amount collected from the TV Licence fee compared to previously:

Re: BBC survey

I too received this e-mail. I am aware of the fact that it has been reported that a large majority of the young are not tuning into the BBC and that could well be the reason for the survey. However I also wondered but if my receiving it had anything to do with the fact that I have recently cancelled by direct debit and do not intend renewing my licence?

I too received the survey and as a licence payer I filled it in.

I filled it in on your behalf and told them that they are total shite (or words to that effect) pointing out the misuse of licence-payers money by paying out obscene amounts to their presenters.

They've had the nerve to send me an email with another survey in case I change my mind. It's the referendum all over again

ETA: I'm no longer a licence payer but couldn't miss the opportunity to slag them off.

Re: BBC survey

Thanks for all the responses.

I suppose that it wouldn't do any harm for me to fill it in as well, then!

Got the same email, saw that I would have to register to take part and said Nope, not going to happen.

Re: BBC survey

Apparently, I was already registered to their web site, so I decided to participate.

I was perfectly polite, but equally honest and I'm sure they would be disheartened to read my opinions, assuming that they do read them.

I get the impression that someone in charge might now be desperate to make improvements to the BBC including both its dire programmes and its obvious political bias. Nevertheless, in the final question I assured them that I would not be returning to becoming a viewer.
