Overhearing a Conversation

In a supermarket?

I tell you ,I couldn’t believe what I was hearing....it felt like my feet were nailed to the floor......I just had to listen in....

Has this ever happened to you?

I bet it hasn’t

All the time Pauline. I pretend to be tidying shelves.

Can you repeat what you overheard?

....seriously ,do they honestly not realise that people can hear them, ...I guess they are pretty open and certainly didn’t sound as if the had any inhibitions.....

I live in a nice area, but shop in a very rough area, I was in Lidl....I can’t say what was being discussed.....but it shook me...it takes a lot to shake me as well.

It may have been the booze or drugs speaking,if you get my measurements.

Re: Overhearing a Conversation

I used to hear some interesting conversations on buses in the days I used to catch them for work.

Re: Overhearing a Conversation

It makes me laugh those folk walking down the streets, or just hanging about or circling in one spot shouting down into their mobiles about nothing in particular.

I keep hoping to hear something really juicy being shouted down their phones, something really get down dirty sleazy stuff ... but there never is.
