Hami

Id like to introduce Hami my new falcon who arrives on Thursday She is a Lugger falcon and about 3. She wont hunt with me but she'll be a lure bird for displays.

Thanks In Pakistan where she's native to Hami means snow.
Falcons by nature are more nervous than hawks which is why they are usually hooded. She is moulting at the moment so very little will be done to her till she's finished then I can start her training. She could take anything from a few days to a few weeks to accept me and take food from me. Lugger falcons are notoriously more tetchy than a lot of others and dont like being messed about with so i'll do an hour or so a day just holding her on my glove & getting her confidence.
