Re: Curtains
Never heard of a Paul Simon!! But I do appreciate the help im getting only measuring the window isnt what I want to do! I want a pair of curtains just like the ones I have only longer.. So I measured the width and have found ready made dont come in that width so if I halve the half width I can have 2 per side which the window will carry as its pretty large and seems to be a more economical way of doing it. My drop dithers around the 53" so the usual 54" is not long enough but a 66" again will be carried against the wall just fine. My pole is to be reused as I like it and it suits so seeing as its only a length issue forcing me to buy a new pair measuring the existing pair and adding a few inches to the length seems the way to go.Re: Curtains
Cassie, it will be easier to launder them if there are four not two large ones. Unless you send them away to be done that is?Re: Curtains
One pair of 48" curtains would measure 8ft across, but you would have no gather. So two pair of 48" would give you a lot of gather and will measure 16ft across.
