Right there were nurses who had been working with sick people in Africa coming back here .A handful one or two ?
And presumably they were British nurses otherwise why would they return to the UK?
Had they been African nurses they would have been treated in Africa .
It's not quite the same is it ?
Ebola is actually quite hard to catch needing an exchange of blood or bodily fluids .

Absolutely yes !
Tuberculosis was eradicated in the Uk
Now thanks to unchecked immigration we have it again .
No one should be allowed in without a clear chest exam from suspect countries .
People with tuberculosis should be sent back to whence they came .
When you go to work overseas this is often required .

Anyway it's not down to medics to be border guards. I don't see anyone here making a case for the efficiency of the Home office. People are being very quiet on that front. Is the home office fit for purpose if doctors are being delegated responsibility for doing the Home Office's job on top of saving lives??26-06-2019, 07:31 PM

Annie, don’t you think that situation I found myself in was distressing enough, without you pouring scorn on my comments?? My Mum never survived! Athens kept her alive for over 3 weeks and she was flown home only to have her life support switched off, with her family at her side, 4 days later.I was distraught, from the time I realised what was wrong with her, and have never got over it. NEVER! Don’t make light of of it. As was scoffed, you weren’t even there!!
