If we don't like the press given to them (which is fairly obvious from most ant-Royals on this platform) then we shouldn't moan at the privacy they prefer.
Her choice, she does not belong to the UK .
That's the trouble with the UK public, we are very fickle.

But my issue is with the Windsors and their place in the UK and not about the form of government that made sense n thousand years ago.
(In any case king David was superceded by Shlomo.)

I do agree actually, it's not like they fund their luxurious life style out of their own purses , we do contribute , and I can see that brits may feel second best if she is showing pics to the Americans . For myself I'm not really bothered , though I've always liked Harry and his mum , but we can't expect him to think like ordinary folk can we after all his life has been extremely comfortable and cosseted. Terrible to lose his mum of course , but there are children who lose their mums every day and have to struggle to survive , whereas Harry had so much help .He has his life now and perhaps has shut the door on us , it's up to him , though sad for those who would like him to stay close

I don't care one jot if this couple are `royal` or not, what irritates me is the constant hounding of a couple who should be allowed to get on with their lives as they see fit and not governed by the UK press or the public at large. Would you like to see your own married offspring treated this way, being subject to abuse and negative comments?Who gives a shit if the new baby's pics appear in US newspapers first? With the constant hounding of Harry's mother by the media and now the disparaging remarks aimed at his new bride who can blame them for not wanting anything to do with the British press?
