Top Gear USA

Came across this on BBC3 last week, and have to admit its a 100% improvement on the UK version. The format is almost exactly the same, but as the three guys involved seem younger and fresher than our lot, its much more enjoyable. The huge bonus of course is, it does'nt have the dreadful, puerile, idiotic, ego of Mister Clarkson, amen to all that!Looking forward to the next edition.(Believe its on Sky also).

Glad you enjoyed the programme John , I would put it in the category of 'lads things' to be avoided at all costs

I cannot abide the program Top Gear, how many time can you watch such immature middle aged men talk puerile drivel whilst driving ridiculous unaffordable cars?

This is without doubt one of the most tedious programs on television, and that takes some doing...

I couldnt have put it better, many years ago the original Top Gear was about down to earth cars that we could afford, since clarkson and his disciples have been presenting it ,it has gone downhill.

Re: Top Gear USA

It's all so contrived too.Just a bunch of ageing boy racers teasing us with cars that are way out of most people's price range. So what if a car can go from nought to ballistic in six seconds.......Round our way you're lucky if you can get above 20mph due to new speed limits and speed bumps.I'd rather watch a programme that focussed on the best second hand, affordable cars to buy.....
