Good morning Monday

Good morning to all and sundry from an overcast but mild Sherwood Forest. I am doing some fencing around the vegetable garden today to try to exclude Oscar, who has a penchant for strawberries and for digging up things which are none of his business..

I hope that you all enjoy your day, whatever you are doing...

P.S. Personally I like this thread...OK it's pretty lightweight but isn't that a good thing to start the day before the aggravation of life intercedes? Why I mention this at all, is that yesterday the Good Morning thread had fifty views but only three replies. Weird or what....

Good morning everyone (or afternoon as it is now).
I agree Plantman - the "good morning" thread is a very nice way to start things off. I always look for it and read it, but don't always post - a bit lazy of me, I suppose. Oscar's antics always make me smile 'though - so please keep starting the "good morning".

Good Afternoon to all, I got plenty to do today, just dropped into the house from the comfort and freedom of the workshop to get a bit to eat ( I don't keep food down there, I think it draws mice ), but I won't be eating for long, herself and two other old hens are nattering away here like talking was going out of fashion.
I also like to read this thread first thing, so please keep it up Folks.

Hi, people! Sunny here, milder: 24 C (76 F) and a nice breeze. Off this afternoon to see the oncologist for my post surgery appointment; hope all goes well; I feel fine, actually. appetite normal, eating pretty much what I want, need to know if I can resume taking my probiotics. No news, as usual.

Barry, I too enjoy the thread, it's the first thing I look for when I log on. I also wish more people would comment, even if, like me, they really have no news.

Good afternoon all, from a Muggy Monday Costa del 'wish it would make up it's mind'. By now the weather should be boringly predictable, just sun, sun and then sun. But so far it seems very reluctant to show itself from behind the cloud. There are even Yellow alerts in place for rainfall levels and storms. However nothing so far. Very strange.......................

Mondays is always a shopping day for me, whilst SWMBO is working, so that has been it, just wondering how much more of this excitement I can take.

One change from the norm, the town where I normally do my shopping is 'closed' today for yet another local fiesta.
So had to shop in our village, couldn't find a bl**#y thing.

Getting dinner at the mo, then it's of to give everyone and evening of Bingo and Quiz at a local bar.

Pleased to hear you're feeling fine Eileen, and hope all goes well with your check up.

Besides the usual walking today, went round to see one of my Nieces who has just given a home to a 6 month old puppy. He's a labrador x ? - can't make our minds up with cross he is. This is his 3rd home and he is settling in well. As the sun had come out, spent rest of afternoon in garden tidying and weeding - trying to keep on top of it before going on holiday next week....
