Thursday Morning

Good morning to all who pass by this way.

A sunny start for us today, and after Oscar's walk in the woods I intend to spend a couple of hours in the garden tidying up the veg and fruit beds before lunch. I'm doing pea and broccoli quiche today with mash and mange tout, with a mixture of freshly picked strawberries and raspberries with plain yoghurt for pud. Scrummy...

Good morning everyone. Its bright and sunny here at the moment. I have to go to town and then get some work done in the house today, but the afternoon will be for relaxing - I hope. Enjoy whatever you are going to do.

Good morning my friends. It's supposed to be bright and sunny today with the temperature around 72 F. That's just perfect! I'm thinking of taking a scooter ride to the Portland Japanese Garden today to see all the improvements they've made during the Winter months. I'm a card carrying member so it doesn't cost me a cent to go. I get their newsletter by email so I can keep up with all the events and renovations.

I might even stop by the Portland Rose Garden as well today, being that it's a short walk down the driveway from the Japanese Garden. Since we're in June it's time for the roses to be in full bloom. Knowing how many of you love your gardens I'm sure you'd like to be here to join me in my day's activity. I'll take lots of photos for you. Have a great day!

Sunny and still much warmer than normal, 30 C (86 F) at about 10:30 this morning. The Summer haters are moaning and groaning.... No news, just busy book boxing and bagging old office clothes and stuff I won't probably ever wear again. Boring, but necessary.

I'd love to see rose garden pics, Bob! And I'd love to have some of those fresh picked raspberries from the garden, Barry!
