Mags I always start at the eyes and adjust my line drawing from there ( I used a rough grid for this drawing and artists dividers to check the distances if I wasn’t sure ) once I get I get the eyes ok I move onto the nose then sort of fill in the in between bits .I didn’t get the eyes first time on this one and might go in and touch them up again .
This is the second drawing I have done on pastelmat which is a sort of cardboard much thicker than usual drawing paper .
Lovely, Muddy. Looking at picture, left side eye is good, dogs right, right side, dogs left, where it's all black maybe needs a tiny bit of work, but it is a super picture.
