I would not say forgotten because I feel he achieved what he wanted and that was to always be in the background running things forming new bands and not in the forefront. He toured and worked with some greats and he also wrote and helped with some of their hits
On hindsight maybe that was more to do with him being diagnosed with MS at a early age and he was fighting his illness as well as still working and writing great music up until he died.

I loved his life songs as I call them, your selection is a perfect example singing and writing about everyday happenings.
These ones I just love.
