Ladies day at Royal Ascot. Have any of our ladies been? - or would like to go? Did you get all dolled up - posh hat and everything?
I'm thinking I wouldn't mind going - perhaps get a group of friends together - our local bus company is doing an outing. I know nothing about horse racing - never even been to a race track so it would be fun...

Sounds just fab. I am very keen on the races , but mostly watch on the tv as they can be very tiring, haven"t been for a long time .Easier sitting on the sofa , having placed your bets earlier. To me though, if you can get a party up of some friends , why not, bet you will have a really good time .
I think you should go, even if it's a one off experience you should try it. And a good excuse to dress up!
I had the chance to dress up 4 times this last year. The first was my Best Friends Wedding, the second was at My Own Wedding, the third was at my Husband's Son's Wedding and lastly was at the Goth Weekend at Whitby.
Great Day's out and memories to treasure
