Reckon ?Netflix are playing the diversity card. No mention of people of colour in the book!Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Was down at the local Co-op just after 8 am this morning, but can't say I enjoyed the experience. Like a fool I took my glasses off so that they wouldn't steam up and then had real difficulty finding things on the shelves. I always have trouble in that shop, their one-way system doesn't seem to fit me and I always end up having to back-track or go all the way round again! Still, I didn't want much and that got the job done.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Sue ,one of the characters made a mention that people were accepting them now the King had married one of them so ???Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Sorry Jac - still don't understand that scenario. Which King married a person of colour in this country?Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Little great granddaughter's in the Heath hospital. She was complaing of a headache and was sick yesterday morning-a sign that her shunt had blocked. She had surgery at 6.30 this morning. She was back on the ward eating toast by 9.She's such a brave 4yr old.She bounces back after each time she has the op.It was April 2019 when she had the last one, that's the longest time the shunt has been without blocking.
