Absolutely, has taken UK in the right direction in spite of the obvious efforts to ridicule him, able to rise above vitriol and has the respect some of those, past and present, in parliament must only dream about.
There are advantages to declining a knighthood. Nigel is ahead of the irrelevant outdated honours system.
He told LBC's Iain Dale he is "better off without it".
Not being bought off by any political party allows him the freedom to speak out.
Good for him.
I have said before, I think that being honoured by the majority of ordinary people is preferable to receiving one of the 'honours' which are routinely handed out to footballers and pop singers!
