While I totally understand your feelings of not being sure, as I'm a bit uneasy myself and have been watching and waiting to see if anything happens to those who've had the vaccine. So far it does seem to be going smoothly and nobody has had anything bad happen. Yes a couple did have a bad reaction BUT they should have known that would happen, from what I can make out. It will be a wee while yet before we're in the age group to be called, so that gives us more time to consider.

Thank you,Roxy, you are always so polite, I appreciate you posting,..that is really interesting,

Do you know how their reaction manifested itself, Rox?...I wonder when we will be called,?like you I’m in my 60s....were in tier 4 which is lockdown I believe,I haven’t been out in days.

I’ve had reactions to medication, one when I was in my twenties,I nearly died, was rushed to hospital,
A recently qualified doctor discovered my allergy to this drug, glad you posted this, obviously when the time comes I will be having a serious discussion with my GP.

Bet he can hardly wait
Might be a couple of years before he has a sufficiently large gap in his diary.

I don’t find that funny, especially as I nearly died after having a severe reaction to a medication,

Maybe if you had been at the receiving end of the seizures,I suffered, might be a different story.

How ever if it made you laugh. doesn’t make you a bad person, does it?,

By the time I become due to receive a vaccine (March at the earliest) I think there will have been a sufficient number of recipients for me to be assured that any adverse reaction would be most unlikely. In addition, I have no known allergies.

For that reason, I shall gratefully accept any vaccine offered.
