I think a lot of people underestimate him, DM, but how many MPs can you name who could have pulled off his recovery show last night?

Yes they are far worse. An explosion of knife crime. Massive waiting times in the nhs. Sharp increase in homeless and use of food banks. Shops and businesses going bust every week. Pound going all over the place. All since 2016.

It's all about boris ogf. If you think he really cares about the17.4m then think again. The parliament has been voted in democratically. It's not up to one man to decide parliament should be gagged. It's not in the interests of the 17m to support such an action.

They were voted in by supporting mandates that said that their parties would respect the will of the people.

They triggered A50 and voted overwhelmingly to have the referendum in the first place.

They are useless.

Has this seriously only just hit people? The erosion of our human rights has been embraced by the majority. We have a constitutional monarchy. Of course the country is led by the elite. It has always been the case. People have accepted that because the country has thrived. But it has thrived because we joined the EU.

Not the government gagging parliament and playing dirty. One man cannot just do willy nilly without control. We are NOT a dictatorship. I just saw it as a way of stopping all the dirty tricks that have made us a laughing stock over the past three years. If the rabble can't agree what's the point of them being there at all, let alone for a few more weeks. The remain camp have used every disgusting tactic in the book, tactics more suitable to African countries or indeed venezuela.

Actually that is not the case because not every constituency is the same. Roughly half the country voted remain and they expect their MP to fight their corner. So there are just as many voters expecting at least an EU deal not this "no deal" nonsense.

The referendum excluded groups that should have had a say. Labour is talking of including EU residents in future voting. They have been treated extremely shoddily. Many are taking up citizenship because their future is so uncertain.

Labour, Conservative all stood on mandates that said they would respect the will of the people in the General Election of 2017.

The Lib Dems said they would have a second referendum and now will revoke article 50.

That's simply not true. There is nothing to compare with what Boris has done/continues to do. The "rabble" is democracy in action. It has always been this way. If you prefer kow- towing the north korea is a shining example.
