Re: Ban the import of trophy hunters kills
4 years today since Cecil the lion was shot. Always big fat ugly American bastards that pose with them.
There's a a call for US to ban imports of animal parts... but I doubt that will suffice as Trumps sons are big game hunters. Also, considering the UK are still trying to struggle through the ban on wild animals in circuses, I doubt any of them have yet got a leg to stand on when bringing in laws for Trophy Hunting trophies entering the country.
Yes they do have farms where they breed to shoot, big business in South Africa. It's called 'canned hunting' because they can't escape., and not only lions ! Giraffes, Rhinos, plus a lot more. A disgraceful business and the African countries are doing nothing it's a way of bringing massive amounts of money in from the rich tourists who perpetuate the industry .
Add to that 50 elephants a day that are killed for their tusks, another Chinese delicacy.. and Japan have this week reintroduced whaling , 2 mink whale caught and killed on Monday.
I hate the cruelty in this world.
Four Paws.
Today marks four years since Cecil the lion was killed by American Trophy hunter Walter Palmer. The international furore that followed has sadly done little to stem the trade.
Thankfully titles like The Mirror continue to shed light on the issue and some of our team headed to Westminster earlier today to an event focusing on the need to conserve our wonderful yet increasingly fragile natural heritage.
Britain can help in bringing the terrible trade in ‘Big Game’ hunting to an end and Parliamentary debates have already been held discussing the issue. #banthrophyhunting
