Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I feel OK today, though did have some pain during the night. I've been getting chemo tablets but today it's the start of the infusions.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

Thanks, I'm now told that it could be 4 to 6 weeks that I'm in for, I certainly hope not....don't know if I could stand that long.

Chemotherapy is well underway, though - my first infusion has begun, it's only a small one of 30 minutes. The next one is 2 hours. They won't actually have my stem cells until Thursday of next week.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

The doctors know what they are doing Ffosse, they won’t keep you in hospital unnecessarily as beds are in demand. They will keep you there until they know you will be able to cope with things at home, especially as you are on your own. Better that than be home a day or two and you don’t feel well again.

Try not to worry about it, better safe than sorry.

I echo that Joe.

I worry when I don't see a post from Dreamy.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I've just been very tired, I think the chemotherapy is taking its toll on me. I've got a headache and feel a bit shivery.

Oh matey, what a relief to hear you're still in the land of the living. Can understand that chemo-therapy is making you feel like s**t, but post on here when you can - as we're all with you matey !!!
