DWP a Apology

For the last 5 months i have been arguing with my local council over my council tax for last year ...Its complicated but basically they overpaid my C/T benefit and now want it back , backdated to last April £1100..It was not MY fault it was administrative errors by the job centre who despite having all the relevant info failed to process it correctly and misinformed the council..After help from my MP and some polite arguing from myself , they decided to look into the problem if i could provide evidence of the MISTAKE ...well i sent a RECORDED to letter the DWP and yesterday i got a letter..detailing the mistake , the fact the the council were given the incorrect info and a APOLOGY to me .....Hopefully the council tax bill will now be reviewed, hopefully to be cancelled or at least amended

Ha Ha I wish ...I not going to push my luck ..I might get put on their 'hit list' and get sanctioned on some trumped up charge ..plus they have not asked for any over payment back so i will quit whist i am ahead, plus they have made another mistake..this time in my favour ...i had a loan from the social fund last year as my washing machine broke ...they seem to have forgotten about it since last October ....so i aint telling them ....
