Do you wear them?

Have a pair with prescriptions? Or readers?

Buy them to look cool or take a fashion risk?

Not much sun here . Rarely have to use them and not to look cool or be fashionable or to spy on others .

My dear wife got me a pair today.
I have a problem with my vision in sunlight or even daylight.
Real snazzy - they cost four squid in the grocery store..........

I have a prescription pair which I use when driving or sometimes just in general but they are not really that good at stopping the sun's rays.

I also have a really nice pair (Maui Jim) which I have had for about twenty years and they are sooo good but it does mean I have to wear contacts as well, something I haven't done for a few years now.

Nice! My eyes are terribly sun sensitive so I wear them else I my entire face is squints up like a prune.

For many years I wore contact lenses, and so I loved to wear sunglasses!

However, in recent years I have had to revert to prescription glasses, as my sight is no longer suitable for contacts.

It's a pain, as it means I can't really wear sunglasses.

Prescription sunglasses are a pain, as you have to keep taking them off and putting your own glasses back on.
Reactive ones I don't like, as the change isn't fast enough for me.

However, I found that wearing a sunhat has actually done away with the need for sunglasses. I use a roll-up hat with a wide brim. It can fit in my bag when rolled up, and has solved the problem.

It would have been nice to wear some 'cool' shades sometimes, though!

NB. I have kept most of the sunglasses I ever wore, just in case a miracle happens!

I have prescription sunglasses but don't get many opportunities to wear them in our climate!

I have the same pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that I found in a bag of sand over ten years ago. I've tried to lose them over the years but they always turn up. No, not in another bag of sand.
