Not really keen on a lot of paintings but that one is the exception.

This is an exceptional painting with very good composition and
beautiful toning colours, and we are left wondering what the Girl is looking back at?

There was one picture I really loved as a small boy. Think it was of my grandmother. It was a young lady standing under a rose arch with her hand on a rough Collie dog. An aunt had it for a play she was producing and never gave it back. Last known to be in the back of her barn. That was years ago but I remember it so well
