The Cyclone

It is an old wooden rollercoaster that has gained landmark status, so can not be torn down, thankfully. There is hardly anything left of Coney Island, there are marvelous pictures of it from 100 years ago when DreamLand, Luna Park and SteeplChase Park, all sadly gone now. Gone are the 23 carousels, wax museums, fortune tellers, Thunderbolt, etc. They are re-constructing it bit by bit, but it can never be what it once was, but at least it is not an old burnt out demilitarized zone as it had been since the 1970s. This is where I go to feed my gulls.
