Re: My last trip
Oh, so pleased everybody loved it too !
It is called ' The Phoenicia Belle ' and is in the Catskill Mountains of NY State, about 80-90 miles from Manhattan.
It was built in the 1850s by a Dr Winter, Tom the owner told me and he believes it was a rooming house even then as they were childless.
They have a website, so you can have a gander. It was a marvelous stay and the host Tom, who hails from New Zealand though has been living in America for 35+ years now and raised his family here is wonderful and lives down the road, in the next tiny village of Mount Tremper.
The b and b is located in Phoenicia and it is looked one major town/village away from Woodstock.
We had a marvelous 5 days there.
